Nobody has done it quite like LL Cool J in the four decades and counting that’s he’s been a pioneering figure in the worlds of hip-hop, Hollywood and many intersecting facets of entertainment in-between.
Fresh off dropping The FORCE, his whopping 14th studio album, the Queens-bred rap mogul appears to be at an apex in his career; he’s established an unmatchable past, is reveling in the present fruits of decades-spanning labor and now has new music on the market to solidify his future as an unstoppable, dare we say it, force.
It left room for many talking points as LL Cool J recently stopped by the BackStory With Colby Colb podcast to sit for one extensive-yet-insightful conversation.

Of course, they also discuss how the Q-Tip-produced tracks on The FORCE came about, in addition to a breakdown of some of the lyrical legend’s greatest and deepest cuts.
