Beyoncé continues her quest for world domination with her latest business venture, SirDavis. The megastar, who dabbles in various sectors, including clothing, haircare, music, perfume and acting, took to Instagram to announce her new project, which will undoubtedly have fans hurling their wallets at their local liquor store.
In a carousel of images posted to her Instagram account, the entrepreneur posed in custom crochet ensemble by Les Fleurs while holding a glass of whisky. In true Bey fashion, the artist kept the caption short and sweet.
“ DAVIS IN MY BONES
SIRDAVIS.COM,” she wrote.
Bey tagged the SirDavis Instagram page, which has garnered 16.3 followers since it was launched three hours ago.
“The Future of Whisky Is Here,” the page reads. And according to a post, SirDavis will launch on Sept. 4, the superstar’s birthday.
Beyoncé can take cues from Jay-Z with the launch of SirDavis
In the 2000s, rappers like Diddy and Jay-Z aligned their brands with the spirits industry. In 2006, Jay-Z invested in a champagne brand and worked with the owners to develop D’USSÉ Cognac. The brand was sold to Bacardi, where he shares ownership. With 18 years in the game, I’m sure the rapper was able to lend a few pointers to his wife, who is no stranger to building successful business ventures of her own.
The world might teach us that there are 24 hours in a day, but that doesn’t apply to Beyoncé. Between dropping albums, touring the country, launching haircare lines, releasing perfumes, filming documentaries, designing clothes, and all the other projects we’re unaware of, the ambitious Virgo proves that her 24 looks different from ours.
