After touting his Anita Max Win Tour at the tail end of 2024, during which he promised to perform for his often-forgotten Australian fans, Drake is stopping short of fulfilling his touring obligations.

The tour initially featured 16 stops in the country’s biggest cities of Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. But with just four dates left, Drake has postponed the rest of the shows.

Rolling Stone Australia-New Zealand reached out to the 6 God’s camp, and his representative confirmed that the dates are currently being rescheduled due to a “scheduling conflict,” and Drake will make it up to his Australian fans by adding more shows to that.

“We are actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows. All tickets for the affected shows will remain valid for the new dates. Refunds will be available for those who prefer, but please note that as these shows are sold out, any refunded tickets will be released for sale,” reads the statement. “We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Drake and the entire team have had an incredible time doing these shows and are excited to return soon.”

The statement ends, “We look forward to sharing the rescheduled dates with you as soon as possible.”

The four shows being moved include a March 4 show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, another March 7 stop at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, and a set of shows in Auckland, New Zealand’s Spark Arena, on March 15 and 16.

The Anita Max Wynn tour happened to be ongoing through rap nemesis Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl LIX performance. Though Drake never name-dropped Lamar on stage, he did take aim at his supporters by switching up lyrics that previously supported LeBron James, tossing a DeMar DeRozan jersey on the ground and entering every venue wearing a shirt riddled with bullet holes to signify he survived the beef.
