GloRilla and Kehlani Celebrate the Season with Festive New Single “Xmas Time”

GloRilla and Kehlani are embracing the festive season with their brand-new single, “Xmas Time.” Released at midnight on Friday (Dec. 13), this holiday-inspired track marks the duo’s first collaboration.

The accompanying music video is a winter wonderland. Kehlani, wrapped in a fur-lined leather jacket, delivers a soulful chorus celebrating “moments like this with my family.”

Meanwhile, GloRilla, dressed in elegant all-white, reflects on cherished Christmas memories and thanks her parents for “birthed a baddie.”

“It’s that time of the year to get exactly what you wishin’/ It’s time to be around all the ones that keep you lifted/ It’s time for all the hugs and the mistletoe kisses/ Not me ‘cause I’m a P, but good luck with your missus/ This as merry as I’m gettin’,” GloRilla raps in the track’s opening verse.

Both artists have had a remarkable year. GloRilla dropped her highly anticipated debut album, GLORIOUS, in October, featuring hits like the T-Pain-assisted “I LUV HER,” “HOW I LOOK” with Megan Thee Stallion, and the summer anthem “TGIF.”

Earlier in 2024, she released fan favorites like “Yeah Glo!” and “Wanna Be,” part of her April project Ehhthang Ehhthang, and later joined Megan Thee Stallion for the “Hot Girl Summer Tour.”

Kehlani has also shined, releasing their Grammy-nominated album CRASH in June, which included hits like “After Hours” and “Next 2 U.”

Featuring collaborations with Omah Lay, Jill Scott, and Young Miko, the project has been described by Kehlani as their “most free, most fun, most loud, most fueled” work to date.

Just ahead of their international tour, Kehlani followed up with While We Wait 2 in August, enlisting artists like FLO, Lucky Daye, Vince Staples, and DESTIN CONRAD.

With “Xmas Time,” GloRilla and Kehlani bring their unique artistry to the holiday season, delivering a feel-good anthem perfect for festive celebrations.
