Halle Berry is stepping up to support families displaced by the devastating LA wildfires. Taking to Instagram, the Oscar-winning actress shared a heartfelt call to action, announcing plans to donate her entire closet to The Coop, a Beverly Boulevard boutique turned fire relief hub.

Halle Berry says she’s donating her closet to LA fire victims.

“If you live in Southern California, I urge you to do the same,” Halle wrote, expressing gratitude to Sharon Stone for spearheading the initiative. “This is something we can do right now today to help all of the displaced families that are in need of the basics.”

Several fans and celebrities jumped into Halle’s IG comments under her video. Bresha Webb responded saying “On it!!!🙏🏽

The Coop, a home goods and fashion boutique, has become a lifeline for fire victims. Store owner Jenna Cooper told The Hollywood Reporter how the idea came to life. “It’s a big space, and my office is upstairs, so I cleaned out my store and made space [for donations],” Jenna said. “My community has nice things, so we’re basically giving the shirts off our backs.”

The boutique’s relief efforts offer a unique approach to helping those affected by the wildfires. Jenna emphasized that she and her team have been intentional in their efforts. “The Red Cross is amazing, but this is a way we are taking care of the community in a way where they can feel comfortable and get what they need,” she explained.

Celebrity support like Halle’s for LA wildfire victims is expected to grow.

Sharon Stone was among the first to share a video of The Coop, encouraging her followers to donate. “Please come and shop if you were displaced from the fire,” she wrote to her 4 million followers. She detailed the most-needed items, including gently used jeans, jackets, clothes, shoes, and gloves.
