It seems as though Kehlani cannot catch a break this weekend.
The singer’s ex Javaughn Young-White has filed a paternity petition to gain full custody of their five-year-old daughter, Adeya after alleging Kehlani is in a sex cult.

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Young-White dated Kehlanin for about a year in 2018 until 2019. He alleges that his name was not listed as the father on their daughter’s birth certificate because Kehlani gave birth “through a home birth orchestrated by what I would describe as a cult” and he is accusing her of being a part of it.
“For the past five years, I have requested a copy of Adeya’s birth certificate and for my name to be added to her birth certificate to no avail,” the documents state.
Additionally, he also alleges that Kehlani has refused to give him Adeya’s social security number and noted in the filing that he isn’t sure if the young child even has one “based on the singer’s actions and behavior.”
The documents obtained by Page Six, also accuse Kehlani of being a part of a cult that controls how they raise their daughter. He alleges that the singer has been “involved in this cult for the past few years” and he believes the cult allegedly “controls [Kehlani’s] actions and her behavior, including when it comes to the upbringing of our daughter.”

“For example, the cult leader, who goes by the name of Neto, convinced Respondent that he had a vision that I was a danger to our daughter and would kill her, and thereafter banned Respondent from allowing me to see Adeya,” the filing reads. “Based on this ‘vision’ by her cult leader, Respondent prevented me from seeing our daughter for months.”
“The cult leader, who goes by the name of Neto, convinced Respondent that he had a vision that I was a danger to our daughter and would kill her, and thereafter banned Respondent from allowing me to see Adeya,” the filing reads.
Young-White claims he found out that Neto allegedly has “numerous accusations of committing sexual assault against women and young girls,” and allegedly performs “religious ceremonies” on Adeya and that no one is “allowed to be in the room” when he conducts them.
“When I discovered this on her birthday in 2023, I was physically restrained and threatened by members of the ‘cult’ when I attempted to retrieve our daughter,” he claims in the filing.“I also learned that Respondent allows a member of the cult that she calls ‘Messiah,’ an adult woman, to take baths with Adeya while being under the influence of psychedelic drugs.”
Young-White claims that when Kehlani is on tour, their daughter is “in the care of her fellow cult members. He is asking to be added to Adeya’s birth certificate and for the court to grant him full custody and child support due to the “huge difference” in his and Kehlani’s respective incomes.
He also wants the singer to undergo a psychological exam “to determine whether or not she does have a bipolar disorder.”
