Lil Baby Teases Joint Mixtape With Future, Inspired by Young Thug’s Vision

Lil Baby fans are in for a major treat this year as the rapper has confirmed new projects on the way.

After dropping his fourth studio album WHAM just last week — featuring big-name collaborations like 21 Savage and GloRilla — Lil Baby is already gearing up for more music in 2025.

WHAM includes a much-anticipated track, “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber,” which features both Future and Young Thug.

The deluxe version of WHAM was released earlier this week on Motown Records, with a wider release scheduled for January 10.

But this isn’t the only project Lil Baby has in the works.

During a recent appearance on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place Podcast, Lil Baby revealed that he will also be dropping a second album in February titled Dominique.

According to him, the album will offer a completely different vibe compared to WHAM, showcasing his versatility as an artist.

On top of Dominique, Lil Baby is currently working on yet another exciting project.

In a new episode of Spotify’s RapCaviar: Day in the Life series, he shared the exciting news that he and Future are collaborating on a joint mixtape.

But there’s a twist — this idea actually came from Young Thug. “

Me and Future was working on a joint tape,” Lil Baby explained. “Now, Slime came home… you know he ain’t goin’ for that, he like ‘sh*t.’ It’s actually Thug’s idea. When he was in jail, he was like, ‘Call Pluto, I want y’all to do a tape together.’”

Although there’s no word yet on when the mixtape will drop or if Young Thug will be directly involved, fans are eagerly awaiting further details. Given the trio’s chemistry, the anticipation surrounding this project is only growing.

This news follows an exciting few months for the group, as shortly after Young Thug’s release from prison last year, he was spotted in the studio with both Lil Baby and Future.

In fact, Young Thug’s first post-prison tweet hinted at the possibility of new music with Lil Baby, fueling even more speculation about their next moves.

With WHAM, Dominique, and the potential Future x Lil Baby x Young Thug mixtape on the horizon, 2025 is shaping up to be a monumental year for Lil Baby and his collaborators.
