Marvel Studios is taking its sweet time to deliver us Mahershala Ali’s Blade reboot, but that’s fine because Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan got us with Warner Bros. Pictures Sinners

The first trailer for the highly anticipated and no longer untitled vampire flick has finally arrived. The dynamic duo who have given us other classics like Fruitvale Station, Black Panther, and Creed are now teaming up again to take a bite out of the horror genre.

Not much is revealed in the 2-minute trailer, but we get enough of a tease to realize that vampires will be terrorizing Black folks and that Michael B. Jordan will be doing double duty in the film, playing twin brothers.

A description of the film reads:

From Ryan Coogler—director of “Black Panther” and “Creed”—and starring Michael B. Jordan comes a new vision of fear: “Sinners.” Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. “You keep dancing with the devil, one day he’s gonna follow you home.”

Who Else Is Joining Michael B. Jordan In Sinners

Sinners also boasts an impressive cast, including Hailee Steinfeld (BumblebeeTrue Grit), Jack O’Connell (Ferrari), Wunmi Mosaku (Passenger), Jayme Lawson (The Woman King), Omar Benson Miller (True Lies), and Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods), who was previously linked to Ali’s Blade movie and is currently stuck in development hell.

Coogler and longtime collaborators Sev Ohanian and Zinzi Coogler serve as film producers. Ludwig Göransson, Will Greenfield, and Rebecca Cho will serve as executive producers for the project.

As you can imagine, social media is ready to sink its teeth into the film from Coogler and Jordan, which arrives in theaters on March 7, 2025.
