Fat Trel has been making waves for 15 years and counting in the rap game, and in that time you can imagine that he’s been part of more than a few dope collaborations.
For this week’s “My First Time,” the Ward 5 native revealed to us that his first collaboration with Chris Brown proved to be one of his most memorable.

The song in question, an album cut titled “Lights Out” off the 2015 collaborative LP Fan of a Fan by Brown and Tyga (seen above), is still a favorite amongst supporters of all parties involved. Trel gave us a play-by-play of how it all came about, from the FaceTime call he needed to truly believe it was the “Run It!” dancer to the amount of times he got the request to switch up his verse — very bold, Breezy!
