Christian hip hop has a good word to share! New gospel songs this week (August 16) include a bunch wrapped in collaboration and originals.

New Gospel Songs This Week – August 16:

We’ve all got something to be thankful for, even those who you don’t traditionally see make Christian and gospel music. Southern rappers T.I. and Young Dro have tapped into their church roots and teamed up with the Sunday Service Choir and Kirk Franklin for a new song titled “Thank God.”

Following his hit song with Ciara, Hulvey is back with a new track about the truth of God’s unconditional love. He calls this one, “True.”

In other Christian hip hop and gospel music news, Mission and 1K Phew dropped a winner called “Jackpot.”

DKG Kie and Parris Chariz have “4 Bibles Full” in their latest release.

God didn’t promise things would be easy, but He did promise a covering that would allow our spirits to overcome challenges if we let Him in. 808 Beezy speaks to such in his new song, “Still Overcome.”
