Known for her vibrant energy and expertise across HGTV shows like Fix My Flip and Rock the Block, Page Turner now stands front and center of the network’s legacy property on Love it or List it. Page is ready to bring fresh perspective, her signature warmth, and an unapologetic commitment to both design and community.

Joining Love It or List It, a flagship HGTV show with nearly 20 seasons under its belt, is no small feat. For Page, it feels both surreal and divine. “I am walking out a dream I didn’t even know I had,” she shared, exuding gratitude. “God’s plans really are so much bigger than ours.”

The show’s familiar format remains—designer vs. real estate agent, keep or sell—but with Page, new energy is in the room. While David Visentin, her fun and formidable co-host, tries to lure homeowners out, Page leans into connection. “I tell people, before you pack up and leave, give me a shot to make your house a home. You don’t always have to run, especially when renovating can create both equity and joy.”

Her confidence is grounded in decades of experience as a real estate broker, flipper, and designer. “I’ve been doing this for 23 years. I know the market, and I know how to create spaces that feel like you.” For Black viewers especially, Page’s presence is more than just good TV; it’s representation at its most meaningful.

Page doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Her design philosophy? Listen first. “When I meet with clients, I want to know what memories matter, how you want to feel when you walk in the door. You have to create a space that really tells your story.” She guides homeowners through samples and stores, encouraging them to touch, see, and dream for themselves—an empowering process.

But don’t get it twisted; the transformations you see in an episode are months in the making. “We’re in a microwave generation; people expect that ‘wow’ moment overnight just because TV shows make it look instant. But real design takes time, care, and intention.” Authenticity isn’t just a buzzword for Turner; it’s her practice.

And when reveal day comes? No nerves. “They’ve signed off on every sample, but seeing it all together is always a shock. Those real reactions are everything. It’s not about me showing off. It’s about honoring the stories, the cultures, and the lives of the people who live there.”

Stepping into the shoes of a beloved show’s host comes with pressure, but Page doesn’t shy away from it. “Change is hard, but it’s always good. I’m competitive as anyone and my goal is to show out—for the show, for the families, and for the viewers. I want people to see bold design, but also real Black joy and resilience on their screens.”

Page is intentional about celebrating other Black women and designers in the industry. “We need to support each other so our voices remain visible and vibrant. It’s not about tearing down, but building up so the next generation can see themselves in these spaces too.”

When asked what everyday folks can do to immediately transform a drab space, Page keeps it practical and accessible:

  • Start with one room you love. Whether it’s your bedroom, dining space, or kitchen, make that the anchor.
  • Don’t be afraid of color or pattern. Accent walls with paint or peel-and-stick wallpaper add personality without permanence.
  • Bring in live plants for a fresh, organic vibe.
  • Tell a story with your space. Choose art, décor, and details that speak to your spirit and spark conversation.
  • If you don’t like it, just try something new! Nothing is permanent—with enough elbow grease, you can always change it.

Page Turner’s impact reaches far beyond open floor plans and tile samples. She’s the friend, the mentor, and the culture-maker many of us have been waiting to see in a space that has long needed her point of view.

“Love It or List It” premieres its new season April 21st at 10|9c, with Turner as the newest force in design TV. For HGTV fans, design junkies, and anyone who loves seeing Black women win, this is one you won’t want to miss.
