The biggest celebrities in the world descended upon The Louvre in Paris to get a glimpse at Pharrell’s vision for men’s fall fashion. The Parisian streets were lined with the rides of the whos who of Hollywood. All of them were eager to watch LV menswear creative director Pharrell and the artistic director of Kenzo, Nigo, send their hybrid of streetwear and Japanese designs down the runway.

Black celebrity men like Aaron Pierre, Idris Elba, Future, Sketa, Slick Rick, Pusha T, and his brother No Malice (a.k.a The Clipse) were just some of the names on the invitee list. They all brought their style a-game to the fashion event.

The Louvre’s oldest courtyard, the Cour Carree, was the backdrop for the runway. Guests enjoyed the sounds from a live orchestra as they watched from the rotunda.

Pharrell and Nigo are longtime collaborators. They co-founded the iconic streetwear labels Billionaire Boys Club and Icecream in 2003. Their first LV collaboration was in 2004 on a popular luxury item that is still in the market, WWD reports. Both figures have been instrumental in men’s fashion throughout their careers.

And this collaboration is no different. The duo tapped into Y2K trends to present a collection, which encompasses luxurious streetwear, including varsity jackets, graphic prints, coordinated pieces, and LV’s signature checkered pattern.  The phrase “Remember the Future,” bounced off the lips on attendees as an homage to looking back on the past to determine the future.

Aaron Pierre went viral for walking, again. This time the hunky actor was walking into the Louvre wearing a sleek black leather look.

Rapper Slick Rick was spotted outside the venue, by The People Gallery, where he dished on his custom LV look. They also caught up with The Clipse, who were in custom LV looks comprised of pearls, leather, and diamonds. Makes sense when their longtime producer and friend Pharrell is at the helm. “I think the collection is all about – it shows the world and the legacy and the influence Nigo and Pharrell had together,” Pusha T said.
