Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion traded stage lights for stadium lights when they hit the Los Angeles Chargers’ practice facility for a special episode of Cardi Tries.
The two music powerhouses tackled football—literally—participating in drills alongside NFL stars Antonio Gates, Derwin James, and Keenan Allen.

Their exuberance and good humor made the day as entertaining as it was athletic.
The adventure began with a 40-yard dash, where Megan edged out Cardi with a time of 6.5 seconds to her collaborator’s 7.9.
Always quick with a joke, Cardi hilariously shared that her high school experience of running from police at “hooky parties” gave her some practice.
Megan chimed in, recalling her days on the drill team, joking that her previous experience was mostly about “looking at the boys.”
The duo also tackled defensive drills, taking turns hitting a dummy with gusto.
Cardi, in her characteristically lively style, declared (before charging into her target):
“I’m just going to envision I don’t like this bitch.”
Megan, meanwhile, marveled at the physicality of the game, saying
“I have a newfound support for the NFL because I can’t believe y’all out here doing this to y’all self.”
Offense was next, as Cardi and Megan practiced catching passes with gloves on.
They even choreographed a touchdown celebration for Chargers players James and Allen, complete with some signature dance moves Megan promised to bring her “stank” to.

The playful moment underscored the strong camaraderie between the NFL athletes and their unexpected celebrity teammates.
Reflecting on the experience, Cardi summed it up by saying:
“One thing I learned about football is that you really need a strong teammate and that’s why I got my strong teammate here, Megan.” Megan echoed the sentiment, praising the fun and adding, “I like catching, I like throwing or whatever.”
The event proved not only to be a crossover between music and sports but also a celebration of humor, teamwork, and stepping outside of one’s comfort zone.
Cardi and Megan may not be NFL-bound anytime soon, but their fearless foray into football left fans cheering and the Chargers players thoroughly entertained.
