Tina Knowles made a bold fashion statement during her appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Feb. 24. The 71-year-old star stunned viewers in a striking red Amsale ensemble that left everyone in awe. Known for her iconic style, Knowles, who is the mother of Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, wore an elegant off-the-shoulder top paired with matching trousers from the high-end boutique, as reported by WWD.

She complemented the sophisticated outfit with a collection of gold jewelry, including a statement Schiaparelli belt that added an extra touch of glamour. To complete the look, Knowles wore black platform heels, which enhanced the chic vibe of her ensemble. Staying true to her signature style, she finished off the outfit with her classic bold red lip and gold hoop earrings, adding the perfect touch to her overall look.

Knowles’ impeccable sense of fashion continues to shine, proving that age is no barrier when it comes to making a statement and she’s loving life lately. During her appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Monday, the star shared that she’s now living her best life, reflecting on the years she spent in the background, supporting her daughters’ careers. Knowles revealed that for much of her younger years, she felt the need to hide and work 24/7 to help further their success. However, after turning 60, she decided to embrace life on her own terms.

“Something just happened and I really started having to assess who I was and the good things about me and not being embarrassed or feeling like I was being conceited to feel good about myself. And to try to look good and enjoy my life,” the matriarch told Hudson. “I have spent my life being pretty codependent and always feeling like everybody was more important than me so you know I’m learning to love myself and to take care of myself and to take the time to do me has been wonderful.”

At 71, the star is now relishing the joy of watching her family shine and cherishing time with her young grandchildren, including Blue Ivy, 13, and twins Rumi and Sir, 7. Knowles shared that she and her family were in “shock” when Beyoncé made history at the Grammys earlier this month. The iconic singer took home awards for Best Country Album and Album of the Year, thanks to her critically acclaimed project Act II: Cowboy Carter.

“I just was not expecting it, and in fact, I sat there for one second and didn’t even believe it was true. I was sitting there with my granddaughter Rumi and my grandson, Sir, and for a second, we were just sitting there and then we she did this,” Knowles said while reenacting Bey’s look of surprise at the ceremony that went viral. “I said, it’s real because there’s been so many times that I thought that would happen and it didn’t,” she continued.
