D’wayne Wiggins, a founding member of the legendary Oakland R&B group Tony! Toni! Toné!, is reportedly experiencing medical complications. The group shared an update on social media Wednesday, March 5th, thanking fans for their prayers and concern while also requesting privacy for Wiggins and his family during this time.

Speculation about Wiggins’ condition grew after unconfirmed reports circulated on social media suggesting he was in hospice care. Neither his family nor fellow group members have confirmed or denied these claims. Fans on X/Twitter stated that Wiggins was recently seen performing at an Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc. conference, where he appeared to need assistance offstage, raising concerns. The validity of the performance and what actually happened has not been confirmed at this time.
