Raw is making it’s move to Netflix January 6th after setting history as the longest weekly running episodic television series. Since January 11, 1993, Raw has been the WWE’s weekly flagship program that has bought us all the iconic characters we know and love today including: Hulk Hogan, John Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and the Undertaker.

We have seen some unprecedented debuts on Raw. As we countdown the debut of Raw on Netflix, our team at RNB Philly curated a list of the best superstar debuts on WWE Raw.

10. Kevin Owens

Accepting an ‘open invitation’ from John Cena, the then NXT Champion Kevin Owens came to make a statement on the WWE’s premier brand. KO left a lasting first impression on the champion and the WWE Universe

9. Eric Bischoff

After the Monday Night Wars, Eric Bischoff needed a new promotion to call home. Mr. McMahon offered Bischoff to the be the GM of his flagship program in a shock of the summer in 2002.

8. The Wyatt Family

One of the most dominant factions took center stage on Raw, July 8, 2013, taking out one of the most dominant superstars in Kane, to assert their dominance in the locker room, and on the network.

7. Bray Wyatt ‘The Fiend’

Interrupting the win of one WWE star, Bray Wyatt was just a ‘fiend’ for attention, when he cut the stadium completely dark to showcase his new character… The Fiend.

 

6. Nexus

Nexus debuted in the WWE with a bang by assualting John Cena and destroying the ringside area.

5. Booker T

Not an official match, but wrapping a bow on the Monday Night Wars came the WCW Invasion, in which the WCW Champion Booker T, attacks “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, starting the WCW invasion

4. Goldburg

One of WCW’s biggest stars, Goldberg, interrupts The Rock’s appreciation night with an emphatic statement – Raw, March 31, 2003

3. Brock Lesner

“The Next Big Thing” Brock Lesnar makes his destructive WWE debut on Monday Night Raw, annihilating multiple WWE Superstars – Raw, March 18, 2002

2. Y2J

Whilst The Rock was in the ring cutting a promo on the Big Show, Jericho entered the arena and proclaimed “Raw is Jericho” and that he had “come to save the World Wrestling Federation”, referring to himself as “Y2J” (a play on the Y2K bug). The Rock proceeded to verbally mock him for his interruption.
